My goal is to encourage growth through evidence-based treatment. I believe in using each client’s individual strengths to overcome challenges. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere that allows the client to feel empowered. I value working with clients from all backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities.

What I Treat: Anxiety, depression, trauma, adoption, and behavioral management.

Treatment Approach: For treatment I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Favorite Part of Being a Therapist: My favorite part of being a therapist is seeing client’s growth and how it inspires confidence in themselves.

Educational Experience: I received my bachelor’s of applied arts in psychology and child development through Central Michigan University in 2019. I obtained a Masters of Social Work (MSW) through the University of Denver with a concentration in mental health and trauma. I have professional experience in parent education, foster care, and adoption.

Payment & Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield (Commercial Plans), Priority Health (Commercial Plans)

Supervision: Sierra currently has a limited license in social work, as such, she is supervised by a fully licensed therapist at our office. This may involve having the supervising therapist observe some sessions.
