Connection.
“One of my most important goals with clients is to help them feel a connection to me. Sometimes that's through use of humor, compassion, honesty, transparency, or even play. When they are able to connect with me they will be better able to share with and trust me. This supports growth and progress within their therapeutic experience."
When every new day seems worse than the last it’s hard not to lose hope. Maybe you hate your job, you just had a baby, you’re struggling in college, or your child is withdrawn and won’t talk to you. Maybe you don’t know why you feel so out of control. Let me help you find the energy to keep going and find joy in your life again.
You want to be able to make it through the day without breaking down or crawling back into bed, to feel in control of your life, to be happy in relationships with others and happy with yourself. You want to see your child’s eyes brighten, to worry less about their safety, or see them make it through a day of school without a phone call. I can help you find the right tools to get there. It is ok to have a bad day or even week, but it all takes a toll on your mental health. I am here to help you to work through the challenges you face so that you can discover the inner strengths and skills you already possess. Together, our goal will be to work together to create change and self-empowerment.
If you are ready to start a journey to change how you are feeling, I'm ready to work with you.
